Benton’s Cross Roads Preschool is a ministry of the church. The purpose is to convey God’s love to young children by providing an environment that encourages each child’s developmental growth spiritually, mentally, socially, academically, and emotionally. This is accomplished through a Christian program that views all people as being created by God and equally worthy of receiving His love.
The preschool child can reach his/her fullest potential when they are offered opportunities to experience being understood and loved. Our program provides opportunities for children to see themselves as persons of worth who can become stewards of God’s creation, create, solve problems, and get along with and care for others.
We can encourage social development by providing opportunities for sharing, making friends, resolving con flicts, helping others, solving task problems, accepting others, cooperating, and building self-esteem. The staff will provide creative, stimulating, and entertaining activities for the children. By following the example of Jesus Christ, we will love, support, and care for the children He has created.
